Card Refinery & Restoration Service Agreement

This Service Agreement (“Agreement”) is entered into by and between Card Refinery & Restoration (“Service Provider”) and the submitting client (“Client”). By submitting cards for service, the Client acknowledges and agrees to the following terms. Card Refinery & Restoration provides professional card cleaning, restoration, and preparation services, including but not limited to surface cleaning, polishing, scratch reduction, visual enhancement, dent and crease correction, edge refinement, flattening and stabilization, microscope inspection, and pre-grading preparation. All services are performed based on the condition of each card and the selected service level. The Client acknowledges that results will vary based on the card’s condition, that not all defects can be removed or improved, and that no guarantees are made regarding grading outcomes or value increase. All services are performed on a best-effort basis. The Client understands that all restoration and handling processes involve inherent risk, including but not limited to surface changes, edge or corner impact, structural weakening, and the possible visibility of previously hidden defects, and by submitting cards, the Client accepts all associated risks. Card Refinery & Restoration does not guarantee any specific grade, does not guarantee that grading companies will not detect cleaning or restoration, and does not guarantee that services will result in a higher grade, and the Client assumes all responsibility for grading outcomes. The Client must provide an accurate current market value of each card in its pre-service condition, and declared value must not reflect projected or post-restoration value; the Service Provider reserves the right to adjust declared value if deemed inaccurate, and any liability, if applicable, will be based on declared value. If slab cracking is requested, the Service Provider will carefully remove the card from its holder, but the Client acknowledges that there is risk of damage during removal and accepts that risk, and the Service Provider may decline slab cracking if risk is deemed excessive. The Service Provider reserves the right to adjust the selected service level based on the actual condition of the card and may recommend upgrades if additional issues are identified, and the Client will be contacted when applicable before proceeding with any additional charges. The Client is responsible for securely packaging and shipping cards to the Service Provider, and Card Refinery & Restoration is not responsible for damage or loss during inbound shipping; return shipping is selected and paid for by the Client, and liability is limited to the declared value and only applies in cases of proven negligence. Payment must match the number and type of cards submitted, orders will not be processed until payment is verified, and all payments are final once service has begun. Due to the nature of the service, all sales are final and no refunds will be issued once work has started. By submitting cards and completing payment, the Client confirms that they have read and understood this Agreement, accept all risks and limitations, and authorize Card Refinery & Restoration to perform services.
